My wife made me a suggestion. Instead of pushing it all behind my ears as if I already had a ponytail, just let it flow over the ears like when I was a teenager.
I must admit it is more flowing, and a way to deal with hair that is still a long way from ponytail length. It seems the most natural for the little I can do at present.
Any other "awkward hair-ers" with ideas?
