My short term goal is mid back. My long term goal is as long as my terminal length will allow me, hopefully to belt length or longer.

I started growing my hair in 1998. I wear my hair on a ponytail or a braid and I like wearing 3 pieces suits. I'm a fun-fair enthusiast, interested by space exploration, technology and Aérotrain.

Grew my hair long for the 3rd time starting 2015, now it's 2026 and past belt length. I normally used to self trim every 12-18 months or so as I like the blunt ends, I think it's about terminal length now. At this point (50 something yrs old ha ha-although I'm sure that won't seem old when I'm 70 lol-same as 40 is laughably young to me now) I want to see how long it will actually grow while I still can. I haven't trimmed in about 2 yrs- seems to grow slower at this long length -could just be perception? Its really a lot thinner at the ends. But happy with it how it is at 50+ yrs age no plans to cut short.

I've finally mustered the courage to start growing mine long. I'm currently (April 2026) seven months in, and I'm loving it. I'm even learning that my hair tends to be a bit on the curly side, which is cool! My goals are healthy hair, first and foremost, and hopefully I'll be able to grow it shoulder length or longer. I have been on the original board since its beginnings. I have long hair since 1979, and refused to follow new trends. I also advocated for neurodiversity, and worked 27 years as a computer tech. I am now retired, 67 years old.
