Although I don’t post much here anymore, I would like to chime in and add that I much prefer this old fashioned site, and in fact, am glad to hear that you’re not in favour of choosing the Facebook route. I don’t even have a Facebook account, and never have, and with all the things that I’ve heard about that site, especially lately, I have no intention of setting up an account there either. Although it’s almost unheard of these days not to have a Facebook account, that’s just the way that I prefer it.
Yes, although this site isn’t as active as it used to be, it still holds a place in my heart.

: I found it fascinating that a podcast, even such an obscure one, would dedicate an entire hour discussing the mlhh but hey we are unique here compared to the many other modern message boards on the net today.Have to admit we make interesting conversation to most who likely don't get our love for having long hair.So even though they did appear to mock us I felt it was in good fun.
: Starting an MLHH facebook page was brought up many years ago but frankly I was against it.LHIA below layed it out quite nicely regarding the pitfalls of facebook.I don't want to really get into it here but facebook has really became a horrible experience in many ways.As long as people still come here there will always be an MLHH.I know the traffic has slowed way down from when I first came here but its still a special place on the web.That's my opinion as others may differ.
