My bad...I could have sworn you buzzed your head. I stand corrected. I'm glad my hair has grown some since the buzz. It has it's perks, but buzzes are not for me long-term. It's a good starting off point for some of us.
Santa Claus...that's funny. Santa with long hair, though! ;) Growing my beard longer has been something I've done a few times the past decade. What I found out, though, is wearing a mask with a longer beard can cause this crease that looked funny on me. I basically have to shower and shampoo my beard to get rid of it...ha ha! I hope you're enjoying your long beard. It's fun to grow out :)

My cousin on the opposite side of North America recently told me that I look just like Santa Claus -- and unfortunately, I pretty much agree!! And now that we all pretty much universally wear face masks during this horrible Pandemic, for "entertainment" I've decided to grow out my beard, too..... Hey, why not? I call it my "Pandemic beard!"

: When I impulsively cut my waist-length hair short in Y2K, it was NOT a buzz-cut. It was just a "typical men's short hair" style. When I was a kid though, yes, every summer my dad would buzz my hair as well as all 4 of my brother's hair off. I totally HATED it -- even though nowadays I can look back on some of those childhood pics and admit that I was "cute" with that look (LOL)!!
