Thanks for your comments! I always wanted long hair as a child so my wife and I wanted to be sure to allow our son to have that choice.
I agree on the all-one-length look. My wife usually just cuts my hair straight across the back so I can maintain that. Of course, your hair is a major inspiration! I think your ends look great as they are now but no doubt some trims would make your ends even thicker.
