I thought I'd post a selfie of what I've been doing most days during the awkward phase. I'm over 8 months into my third longhair journey that started back in January with 2 inches. It looks fuller than it had gotten and is nice and healthy. But the length just isn't there yet as it keeps curling up rather than going down. It will eventually go down and then I won't have to cover it with a bandana and I can actually just wear those beads in my hair the way it's meant to be done!
