I've been oiling my head at night and sleeping with a cotton doo rag on for months so the oil doesn't make a mess at night on my pillow. My hair is definitely in the awkward stage and all over the place so now I've started wearing a cotton head wrap during the day to control it. Since cotton breathes and I work inside where I'm not sweating, is there anything wrong with this from a practical stance? I don't know how true it is, but when I was a kid people were saying that if u wear a hat all the time u will go bald because your scalp needs to breathe.
