So, if I try to dye my hair is it possible this non-chemical plant based dye is going to damage my hair? Back in May it was so damaged that I looked like I was going bald in the back but not so much now as it is slowly recovering with the help of oils. I attached a picture so you can see the color differences between my beard and hair.

I don't think that this non-chemical plant based dye is going to damage your hair. It is your hair, however, my recommendation is that you forget the dye and just let your hair and beard grow naturally.
