: you can always shorten it at any later point, when you are really sure about it. My goal at the moment is to keep a long length, so I'm biased, hahaha :D I only trim if it is necessary (damaged ends). One time I trimmed the front hairs by about 1 to 2 inches and afterwards I regret cutting off so much. I will try to stretch out trims and only trim half an inch or less.
: Also you can trim just about one inch and then if you really want, do another trim about one inch.

I appreciate your advice. Your right in that I can trim when I am sure. I too have regretted trimming a couple of inches of my hair in the past.Thanks,
