I forgot to mention that in the morning use your fingers to get out tangles and work to a brush starting with ends and working towards the scalp. When hair is free of snags then do the water only wash with warm water.

: It took me a while to get a routine together that works for air dying my hair in the morning while getting a shower at night. I've gotten into only washing and conditioning my hair every other night and the nights I keep it dry I do a good brushing first and then tie it back so it doesn't get wet. If u wash your hair then put a leave in conditioner in your hair. So, goto bed with damp hair.

: It will be all matted and messy when u wake but u will get it wet again and this time it will have time to dry. Get in front of a sink with warm water and get both hands wet but put water all over your scalp. Water will move oils down from your scalp into your hair. If your hair is pretty long then u may need to spray the ends with a 50/50 water/coconut oil mix or whatever hair oil u like. I've started putting a curl cream in my wavy hair because I already have lots of small curls. Finger comb and part with a real comb. When dry in an hour or 2 there will be oil residue on your hair that will look greasy. Rub your fingers through your hair and use boar brush or Afro pick (brushes will take out the curls-embrace the curls if u got them and use a hair pick).

: That's it. Once you've done this, it takes 10-15 minutes to do the water only wash in the sink each morning.

: Hope this helps!

: Marty
