I've been in the same boat for many years now. People kept telling me it was a genetic thing and I was gonna go bald like my dad and brother. My hair was extremely brittle and I'm hoping it's because I had been wearing my hair in a tight ponytail for 12 hours a day and it just was getting properly moisturized. Now I'm letting it hang loose and using leave in conditioner by Aussie. Hopefully I'll see some more length by Christmas!
Try using leave in conditioner...I know guys were pushing that and the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner here years ago.
