That's cool that you're into climbing and bouldering. I tried rock climbing once many years ago with a friend who was already into it. It just kind of freaked me out especially the part about being responsible to belay another person. I have great admiration for climbers though. I read Alex Honnold's book. It's just incredible that he was able to free solo El Capitan in Yosemite!

I used to run and I've always loved it but, like you, I experienced injuries - both to my knees and feet. That's the beauty of cycling. You can really hammer hard without the pounding from running. I almost never get injuries related to it. I'll still run on occasion when the weather or road conditions prevent me from cycling. I have the aerobic engine to do lots of it but I have to be very careful with not overdoing it and getting an injury.

As for hair, I agree that some gray is not a concern. I still don't have much in my head hair but have gray in my beard now. We're blessed to not be affected by the ravages of MPB.
