Believe me, I will have no problem leaving the workforce when that day arrives and not looking back. Even if I have to lower my standard of living a bit I just want to be free of the rat race. My brother retired at 55 and is doing well. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. Cheers

: I would mention that I and many others won't be able to retire until I reach the age of 80+. Especially given that you'd need a lot of money to make it through retirement.
: I would also mention that a number of eleerly die very soon after retirement, it's like their not going to work each day killed them.
: I know a number of people who retired at the age of 65 who died shortly there after, on the other ahdn I know a number of people who continued to work and were still alive into their 80s and 90s.
