I agree health insurance is a big stumbling block no matter your age. Employers either might not offer it or require you make large contributions into the program.I feel people who have worked many years should have the option to retire young enough to be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor.I in no way want to be forced to continue working deep into my 60s.My supervisor at work actually still works in the field and is beyond his mid 60s.He seems to like his work which is one reason he continues.My fear would be when you do finally retire something bad happens health wise which might either sideline you or worse.At this juncture I will call it quits at 62 but if its possible I would go out sooner.
