Really hate those makeUNDER shows that make you look worse. Rachel Ray isn't the only one. 'Today Show' picks random folk for their makeovers, and every time it's a male, and he has long hair, they chop it all off (and somehow make it acceptable by donating the chopped of ponytail to a charity like 'Locks of Love').
A lot of the women with really long hair end up with a lot less too. They chop it off above the shoulders, add layers, and remark how chic and carefree it is, and the stupid drones in the audience cheer, just like they do for the guys getting their long hair hacked off.
I'm happily a non-conformist for the societal norms imposed on the masses and agreed upon by the drones. I always compliment a guy I encounter, who has long hair, because I know they don't always get the respect they should from family, friends, co-workers. At least they know they have support from somewhere.
