Understood, but one thing I want to point out and this pertains to Men in the U.S. who currently wear their hair longer.
longer haired men under the age of 60 overwhelmingly supported Trump while those over the age of 60 who still embrace left of center ideology did not. there are exceptions to both, but unlike the era of the `60s and `70s Long hair on men is no longer associated with the left, but center-right.
if you were to take a survey on American Men with long hair you would come to the same conclusion.
: I want to be very careful about what I say, but a new narrative is emerging out of the traditional argument between conservatives and socialists: that of a popular reaction against the “professional” political class that no longer represents democracy, freedom for all and the common good. I am not a Trump fan (nor am I American), but he does (or appears to) represent a revolution against a self-serving establishment.
: I do begin to see that the goalposts are moving, and everything is changing. This is what can make everything so dangerous. I agree that the various figures in Europe seeking election are not Nazis or Fascists, and seek to break the present system that is stifling us.
: I support something that will bring change, break the inevitable nature of some kind of “1984” type surveillance society and enable ordinary people like you and I to live dignified lives. It is frightening, because we can’t see what is coming. Everything is new and unprecedented. It is tempting to hide behind Establishment ideologies, but they are killing us.
: I too will avoid the subject of politics here, because there is no one truth, and there is already enough conflict in this world.
