Mostly because I don't think my hair is getting any longer, or at least it seems to be growing very slowly. No matter, I'm still really happy to finally be a longhair at 45 years old.

My hair seems to be growing slowly, also. I recently had a slight trim to get rid of the dead ends on my hair strands. I will let you know if this helps. I think that it is helping.
