Hi Val,

I have had my hair at this length over a number of years. It has not changed much for some time. Starting from scratch, this would take me about two years to grow back, the longest hair being in the back at about 1 ft. from the top of the crown down near the shoulder blades. At a growth rate of 6 inches per year. The hair salon leaves this longer in back with some layering on the lower rim. The lower back is thinned to prevent bulging out. The sides are more layered/ thinned to prevent bulging out there, to prevent the “Larry” look of the "Three Stooges”. This is about the longest I can grow this with family and work considerations. So I show my hair using different background photo shots. The wall stone carvings inside Ankor Wat in the long hallways show the nobility with long hair at year 1000 A.D. , similar to the men in India at this time. Other tourists are looking at religion or art. I’m looking at hair. Looks like short hair is a more recent event.

Thanks, Don
