Here's how my ponytail looks after I blowdry my hair. I don't like it at all and wish I could find a product that would tame it, or a blowdrying technique that would avoid this wild, bushy, staticky (I say that's a word) look and feel. I try to avoid blowdrying it but sometimes I can't go out with my hair still wet and I don't have time for the normal "air dry."
