Water wash

I read here about water washes and that u don't need to use much lukewarm water to move sebum off your scalp and down your hair and it doesn't need to be done everyday. I need to wash pollens out of my hair everyday before I goto bed otherwise allergies will have me coughing all night.

So what I've been doing is using some water on the scalp each night with lots of conditioner and then spray coconut water on the ends once my hair is towel dried. In the morning I spray it with a jojoba and argan oil mist along with leave in conditioner. Seems like a lot of oil, but my damaged hair drinks it up.

Is this a good routine instead of the occasional water wash or would my hair become dried out eventually?

Marty
