Wildness? I think you saw my "never weather beaten hair" as I was out in my boat last week!
I am quite anti-conformist by nature and I tend to see my relationship with society almost as a kind of Scarlet Pimpernel, weaving in and out and keeping people confused. I agree with you about proper care (which I do) and living with it each day.
Once I do get it to ponytail length, I anticipate tying it up tight to be in conservative / conformist company. Most of the time, I just groom reasonably with comb or hands. I am not often in the company of intolerant people, and I think I have enough character to say something witty.
This journey is really a fascinating one. I'm enjoying it!
