Your hair looks great combed and parted this way. By the way, your hair does not look awkward at all - it is laying very nicely. You've got some nice wave to it and it really suites you very nicely... I hope you are feeling confident in your new look. It takes a lot of patience to get it real long, but you are looking excellent now - so go with what you got and enjoy.
