It was a great show!
I was caught off guard by my emotional reaction to it. I was very pleased with Maroon 5 performance and the band that did "Revolution". However, I was displeased with Katy Perry's performance of "Yesterday". I enjoyed the story about "Let it Be". I did not know the context of that song and it was powerful to hear it. I remember at the time, being a non-Catholic, my mother did not like the reference to "Mother Mary" in the song- thinking it was a reference to the mother of Jesus... but come to find out, according to the show on Sunday, it was a reference to Paul's mother, Mary - which made it seem all the more interesting to me.
Yes, it was a great show - It was great to see Ringo do his numbers and see how much Yoko Ono enjoyed herself... It was a great tribute to these last two remaining living legends of our generation!
