WOW, Holy !*#!!*#!!!! Eight moves within a 2-year period would be VERY stressful in my opinion!!! (And I speak from a lot of years of moving experience, including X-country 3 times, as well as several within-city or regional moves; but all of it when I was quite a bit younger, as I now currently live in a rent-controlled San Francisco apartment that I moved into during the summer of '94...)
There will be no pressure from me for you to finish this book, much as I would like to see it completed someday. I so admire your desire to accomplish this project; but seriously, don't push yourself until logic dictates it's a more comfortable & relaxed time to do so!
When I was younger and moved around a lot, -- as well as changed both jobs and careers several times within my lifetime -- the toll this takes on a person physically, mentally, and emotionally is more than we often realize at the time (at least while we are in the middle of it). Once our life settles down and things begin to get a bit calmer and more stable, it's then easier to focus on special projects we've always wanted to pursue.
