Wow, and it seems just like yesterday. 59 old? No way. I am 65 so am getting closer. LOL
But getting back to the Beatles. I can remember hearing my sister screaming at whatever she was watching on TV. I went to look and wondered what she was screaming about? I thought hey, what a neat group and despite being all wrapped-up in Classical Music, was enjoying very much hearing something entirely different. Also the long hair. I thought it was great! And then mother suddenly appeared with a most "classic comment" that only she could conjure up: "Oh no, what is the world coming to. Men that look like women!" I remember quite well thinking that I didn't think they looked like women at all. Oh well, she got over it quickly enough and never did accuse me of looking like a Girl. :-)
