Now that you've got a lot of hair and the potential of your mane is revealing itself, I have this one thought:
A bit of hair on your lower chin might decrease the apparent bulk of bare skin on your lower face. That hair wouldn't take long to grow, and it might be worth trying, if you'd be amenable to having hair there.
