You can get those of all types, but I don't care much for the either. For one thing, elastics always seem to stretch out after a uses and I end up replacing them. : It might be possible to modify the back of the metal piece such that it would just clip onto any ponytail band after you tie it in. That would seem like the best way to do it. In fact, I've never tried this, but I bet it would be possible to clip a suitably shaped clip-on earring to a pony that way. True, those are made for ladies, but there are so many designs (many available very cheaply on eBay I'm sure) you could probably find something suitable. Now that I mention this idea. I think I'll try it myself and see if it works.
