That site that Jin posted seems to think it does and I'm following the guides there to make ACV & Baking Soda hair cleaner and conditioner along with some other hair rinses from tea and the scalp peel from the bark of a Willow Tree. : : So I started going around the web to see what else I could use that is all natural besides eggs (I don't want my shower drain smelling like rotten eggs). I found a couple things-coconut milk for deep conditioning (leave in 30 minutes under a winter hat), apple juice for another shampoo and of all things hair gel made from flax seeds! : : I have a couple bags of flax seeds at home so I can easily try this out. I'm not sure how much of a hold it has compared with a store bought hair gel with chemicals that isn't edible, but I don't need a whole lot of hold right yet so I'm game! : : Marty : I have been gunking my hair with this flax seed gel, combing and then let it air dry with a folded bandanna on my sides so that the sides dry behind my ears. I take the bandanna off (I just secure it with a simple overhand knot at the back of my head so that I can easily get it loose without pulling it over my head). The hairs seem to stay put that were under the bandanna. Nice little trick and I'm sure Bill would be proud!! : I found this nice strainer that would help make this gel. Link attached. Put the strainer over an empty and clean wide mouth jar. It hasn't gone bad without preservatives and in the fridge for a week. : Here's a picture of Bill with his signature bandanna the way I'm wearing it! : Marty
