I'm a little late as usual, so I'd say I'm probably in between 15 and 16 months...but today I finally hit a milestone in being able to pull all my hair back into a tail! : : I was thinking last night, its been almost 16 months I should be able to pull my hair back, early trim or no early trim! I gave it a shot and was surprised it did stay put! It definitely looks different, but I'm happy to at least have the option, especially when I'm doing something active. : : I normally take pictures the day I wash my hair, but this time I did it on a wash day before the wash. This is about as greasy as my hair looks the day I wash it again (I washed on Wednesday morning). My wife thinks its took greasy looking and I should wash it the day before, what do you think? If you follow the link the pic will supersize... : : : : I'm getting closer to my original length of shoulder length all the way around. The "bangs" are about a 1/4 - 1/2 past my chin now...but I think I'm probably still 7-10 months away from hitting that goal. The back and sides are easily on the shoulders now. I have to say, after reaching this length, I'm thinking I will definitely go for more. I'm not a fan of the curl up/swoop my hairs doing because of the shoulder resting. I think I'm going to re-evaluate once it gets long enough to fall straight. : : -Tommy : Excellent progress, Tommy. It looks fantastic. It's great that you are now able to pull all of your hair in a pontytail. : Also, I'm glad you want to go further. With your hair, it will only look better with each cm.
